This place is such a cool, retro restaurant. The servers wear old school uniforms which makes the experience authentic.

Of all the things they offer, which is a lot, my faves are the PB&J and the grouper sandwich. The turkey sandwich is delicious on toast.

If you've never been here, you MUST try it. The room in the back with the bar is cozy.

    Don't forget dessert!

Update 10/5/19: the fried cheese grits have been back for months (yay) and the service has been excellent. Try the pot likker and ask for cornbread. It's great on chilly nights.

Update: the ever delicious fried jalapeño cheese grits have been replaced with the mediocre pimento cheese and macaroni fried bites. Our waitress was sharp and shrill, not the usual friendly servers OK Cafe is known for. She messed up our order twice and wa

Ok Cafe has really good diner food. They have so many items on the menu that it's hard to chose. The chicken pot pie is excellent as is the BLT. Their strawberry shortcake is a delightful treat after the meal. For appetizers the basket of fries and onion rings are as greasy as they come, but they are tradition.

The name "OK Cafe" should be changed to "Amazing Cafe".
Went there for lunch this afternoon with my fiancé.
She had the chicken with collard greens and baked sweet potato 'blue plate'. I had the roasted turkey with all the fixings 'blue plate'.
    Both were FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!
This place is hopping. They have a lot of customers and the staff to accommodate all of them. We waited five mins at the lunch hour rush.
This place is a must! GREAT comfort food, it's a little pricey, but well worth it!!!!
    They have take out too!
    Don't miss this gem!!!!!!

Divina was such a pleasure and gave us first timers a tour of the place! We opted our order to-go (2 malt shakes for the beau).

Second time around, we knew we had to dine in. I ordered the turkey sandwich with regular fries, and I asked for the turkey meat to be sliced from the to-go area (fresh turkey meat y'all!).

Third time around, I still stuck with my turkey sandwich except ordered it with sweet potato fries instead. Holy cow. Not going back to plain old fries after tasting the sweet potato ones. AND we opted for the warm carrot cake with a scoop of icecream. It was a DREAM.

Come here for spectacular service and comfort food. OK Cafe is everything BUT "okay." It is spectacular all the way from the food to the service.

OK Cafe is an old school diner in the heart of Buckhead. The place really gives you an old-school vibe. It feels like it could be a set of a Tarantino movie.

There are 2 entrances: Take out and the Cafe. Make sure to go into the right one. That Cafe entrance is facing the shopping center. The Take Out entrance is facing Northside Dr. They are on opposite sides of the building.

I liked that the bathrooms were near the entrance, right when I walked in. I could do my business and go straight to the host.

They have a counter you can sit at if you come alone. I decided to do that. From here, you can see the action of the kitchen. You can also see that they are cafeteria style.  They don't cook the meals.  The foods are already pre-cooked and sitting on heated trays,

Their menu consists of sandwiches and their "Blue Plate" specials. Their Blue Plates come with your choice of entree and 2 sides. I chose the Meatloaf, Green Beans, and The Squash Souffle.

The Meatloaf was very dense. It comes with Creole Sauce. I liked the sauce. It was flavorful, had that nice umami-tomato flavor, and had a bit of a kick.

The green beans were over cooked and on the bland side. It needed a bit more salt.

The Squash Souffle was good. It had a good Squash flavor and was seasoned well. I enjoyed my meal.

The staff are all friendly. When you're ready to pay, you can pay at the front. They also have cookies and rice crispy treats at the front, where you pay, to tempt you more.

I think OK Cafe is better than OK. They're pretty good. I'm a fan.
